Another "Bryceism"

This one isn't really fit for the general public! :)

On the way to school this morning Morgan was asking lots of questions about everything from public school vs. private school, if her friends in public school knew God, etc. Rather heavy stuff for 7:30am! Then there was a pause and I could tell she was thinking.

"I want to know about babies!" she says with a giggle.

So she asked about what happened when she was born. If she asked for Daddy right away. Why she didn't have any clothes on. What she ate. Etc. I gave all honest but age appropriate answers!

About 2 minutes into the conversation, Bryce pipes in, "Can we PLEASE not talk about this!?"

Tractors

This week Bryce's babysitter brought over some tractors for B to play with. She also helped him with this craft. I thought you'd be proud. :)

Joy to the World...we celebrate Christmas year-round

This year the first graders got to participate in the school's Christmas program. Here is Morgan singing "Joy to the World". (Note that in NO WAY would she sing a solo in front of anyone else but family!)

Also, she did great reciting her memorized poem at school this week but was equally thrilled not to be chosen to speak in front of the school. :)

Today at School/Home

"Dear Grandpa,
I love you. I did math and technology class today. Technology is computers. My favorite thing to do at school is recess. I play on the swings with Lacey and Ella. Stephanie too. I sit next to Lacey at school and across from Makayla. I can't wait to see you next week. I want to play checkers. And draw pictures with you, Grandpa.

My favorite thing at Christmas was a hideaway pet and a towel with a flamingo on it.
